Kilnsey Trekking and Riding Centre sits in the Wharfedale valley in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, near Skipton, Malham and Bolton Abbey. It holds BHS approval as a riding school and is a Pony Club Approved Centre.
The centre caters for all ages from 4 upward, welcoming able-bodied and disabled riders, complete beginners, intermediate and experienced riders. The offer covers pony trekking through the Dales landscape, structured riding lessons, and horse riding holidays, including multi-day residential stays for those wanting a more immersive equestrian experience. Trekking routes take riders through some of the most distinctive limestone scenery in northern England.
Pony Club events and competitions run throughout the year. The centre is a long-established yard and well-regarded locally for the quality and temperament of its horse and pony string.

Family-run BHS Approved Riding School with BHS Approved Instructors and Pony Club Approved Centre. Address: Conistone with Kilnsey, near Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 5HS, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park (Kilnsey Park Estate). Pony treks, horse rides, riding tuition, riding holidays. Open seven days a week. River Treks and Cool Scar Trek beginner-friendly; longer rides (Outgang Trek, Limestone Pavement Trek, Mastiles Lane Ride) for 11+ only and not suitable for nervous or inexperienced riders. Children 6 and under must be led by parent or suitable adult. Suitable for accessibility riders.

Suitable clothing and footwear; gloves and waterproofs advisable.
Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail before putting on your helmet. All jewellery must be removed before riding.
