About this yard
Westcroft Park Polo Club is set in the Surrey Hills near Chobham, at Westcroft Park Farm, formerly known as Ascot Park Polo Club under the same site. With 90 stables, on-site staff accommodation, three full-size boarded polo fields and a full-size all-weather, floodlit arena, the club caters to everyone from complete beginners and non-riders through to professionals, running chukkas, lessons, challenges, practices and tournaments most days of the year.
Richard is the founder and owner, playing off 3 goals outdoors and 6 in the arena, with his most notable win the Arena Gold Cup. A fully HPA-qualified coach, his particular focus is horse breeding and the re-training of racehorses for polo. The club also runs a well-regarded coaching programme for schools, with Westcroft Park teams placing first and second nationally in the Senior School Arena National Championships.

What to wear
