About this yard
Wellow Trekking Centre is a BHS-approved riding school and trekking centre at Little Horse Croft Farm in Wellow, about six miles from the centre of Bath. Set in beautiful Somerset countryside, it offers lessons and trekking for adults and children of all ages and abilities, with a large selection of rides through the Wellow valley and surrounding countryside. Spare boots in most sizes and correctly fitted hats are provided.
Beyond riding, there is an on-site cafe and tearoom, a play park, and small animals to see, making it a workable half-day family visit. A separate corporate and group hospitality arm offers activities including archery and clay pigeon shooting.

Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.

Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
