Mottingham Farm Equestrian Centre has operated since 1957 and is situated on Mottingham Lane, SE9, within the London Borough of Bromley. Spanning 55 acres just a short drive from Dartford, Bromley, and Central London, the centre teaches from absolute beginner to advanced level and accepts riders from the age of four. Lessons are taught exclusively outdoors, in a large outdoor school or across eight usable fields, giving riders a natural, open-air experience. A herd of more than 40 horses and ponies caters for a wide range of rider sizes and experience. Mottingham Farm works closely with the London Boroughs of Bromley and Lewisham to provide rides for school groups including children with special needs. Holiday events including pole work, jumping lessons, pamper-a-pony mornings, and guided field hacks are regularly offered during school breaks.
