Ham House Stables is a long-established, ABRS+ approved yard run by Minette Rice-Edwards, who has been teaching for over 60 years and holds the ABRS Advanced Teaching Diploma. Set in Ham, Richmond, the stables offer private lessons in classical dressage, gymnastic jumping, and groundwork on well-schooled horses. An all-weather outdoor arena is on site, with access to local hacking routes and a nearby polo club's all-weather track in winter. The stables run a year-round Kids' Club providing private riding and groundwork lessons alongside stable management and holiday riding camps. The yard also offers full and working livery to a high standard. Due to consistent demand, the adult lesson diary is typically fully subscribed, though junior places are actively maintained. Minette holds the ABRS Advanced Teaching Diploma, has competed internationally in dressage, showing, show jumping, eventing and racing, and teaches a classical riding approach that draws on the Alexander Technique.
