About this yard
Beechwood Riding School was established in 1972 in Tatsfield and relocated to Hillboxes Farm in Marden Park, Woldingham, in 1987. With over 35 years at the current site, the BHS-approved school focuses on classical equitation and rider-horse harmony, offering excellent hacking through Marden Park and the North Downs, private lessons, and a calm, family-run environment.
Facilities include an international-size all-weather menage, a grass school, an indoor school, a large jumping paddock with a full set of showjumps, a working equitation course, and cross-country jumps.

A hat to a current recognised safety standard. Requirements can vary, so check with the yard before you ride.
Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs should be covered, and waterproofs are worth having for outdoor lessons. Check with the yard if you are unsure.
Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
