A typical day

Days ride through the frozen valleys and dunes, watching for the wild takhi at Hustai, with nights spent in the gers of nomadic families, warmed by the stove and sharing food and stories.

This is a winter trip, timed around the deep cold and sometimes the Tsagaan Sar lunar new year; expect very low temperatures.
