About this yard

Woolacombe Riding Stables is set at Eastacott Farm in the valley of Woolacombe, North Devon, with access to over 200 acres of open countryside and exclusive rights from Parkin Estates to ride on Woolacombe Beach, a three-mile stretch of golden sand in one of England's most popular coastal resorts. The stables are BHS and Pony Club approved, and the first in North Devon to achieve Clubmark accreditation.

Rides are available from half an hour up to one hour 45 minutes across a range of abilities. Beginners and novices join the one-hour instruction ride where escorts walk throughout. The one and a half hour countryside ride climbs to 400 feet above sea level with sea views. The one and a half hour dune ride and the one hour 45 beach ride, which passes through Woolacombe village and along the three-mile beach returning through the dunes, are for experienced riders. The beach ride is for riders aged 14 and over.

BHS instruction is available in the outdoor arena for flatwork and jumping. Boots and hats are provided free. Open all year round, all rides escorted.
