Newton Hall Equitation at Swilland near Ipswich is a BHS approved centre with one of the largest indoor arenas in Suffolk, backed by two outdoor arenas and a modern equestrian set-up. Strong option for serious riders, with lessons for novices, intermediates and advanced riders, plus specialist sessions for adults coming back to the saddle. Specialist dressage adult camps for intensive training. BHS exam training. Café, offices and conference room on-site for camps and clinics. Pony rides, Saturday pony clubs and pony birthday party options for younger riders.

A hat to a current recognised safety standard. Requirements can vary, so check with the yard before you ride.
Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs should be covered, and waterproofs are worth having for outdoor lessons. Check with the yard if you are unsure.
Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
