Inadown Farm Riding Stables
About this yard
Inadown Farm is a BHS and ABRS+ approved riding school and Pony Club centre set in the Hampshire countryside near Newton Valence, Alton. It is a well-equipped, family-friendly yard with a reputation for progressive coaching across a wide range of disciplines.
Facilities include a 20x60m indoor school with a viewing area, a 30x45m outdoor school suited to jumping, an outdoor lunge pen, a full set of showjumps and arena cross-country fences, dressage boards, a solarium, and a separate lecture room. The yard sits within over 100 acres of well-maintained grazing with access to excellent hacking.
Lessons run for riders aged 4 and up, with a weight limit of 14 stone (contact the yard if above this to discuss options). Lead rein private lessons are available for younger or less confident children. Group lessons require riders to be competent off the lead rein. Activities throughout the year include horseball, mounted games, sidesaddle, New Forest and beach rides. Holiday camps run for all ages. Pony parties are also available. Adjacent 4-star (Visit Britain rated) holiday cottages at Inadown Farm make it possible to combine a Hampshire break with riding.
