Haldon Riding Stables is an ABRS+ approved riding establishment in Exeter, Devon. The centre offers hacking in the surrounding countryside. ABRS+ approval means the centre has been independently assessed by the Association of British Riding Schools for its standards of horse care, instruction and safety. A family-run business with a small, friendly yard close to Haldon Forest at Dunchideock. Wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance. Minimum riding age 5.

What to wear

Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.
