Glen Jakes Riding School is a well-established yard in Stockport offering group, private and semi-private lessons for all ages and abilities. The school operates seven days a week with weekday and weekend timetables, and lessons run from 30 minutes upward. Certificates (levels 1-5) are awarded on merit as riders progress.
Current prices (from April 2026): Weekday group 30min £22.50, Weekday group 1hr £33; Weekend group 30min £26, Weekend group 1hr £40; Private 30min £38, Private 1hr £54; Semi-private £27 per person. Hat hire available at £2 per lesson. Maximum rider weight 15 stone.

What to wear
