Roocrofts Riding Stables is an ABRS+ approved riding establishment in Wigan, Greater Manchester. The centre offers a programme centred on children and young riders. ABRS+ approval means the centre has been independently assessed by the Association of British Riding Schools for its standards of horse care, instruction and safety. Established in 1958, Roocrofts is a family-run business at Courage Low Lane, Wrightington, providing equestrian tuition through The Pony Club and ABRS. Mixed group lessons run every Saturday and Sunday, with private lessons available during the week and weekends. Minimum riding age 6.

What to wear
