About this yard
Dacorum & District Riding Club is a grassroots riding club and unaffiliated show venue at Westwick Row Farm, Leverstock Green, just outside Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, within easy reach of the M1 and M25. It is a showing venue rather than a riding school, catering to all abilities from lead-rein beginners to experienced competitors.
The club runs around 5-6 unaffiliated horse shows each summer, open to both members and non-members, with rings for show jumping (cross poles up to 1m), dressage, showing (in-hand and ridden), and clear round/working hunter. There is no membership system, making participation straightforward for all competitors, and many classes qualify riders for wider grassroots championship series.
