About this yard

Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre is a Pony Club centre in Bourton-on-the-Water, established in 1999. Around 50 horses and ponies (many of them rescues) run a strong programme of tourist hacks through the picturesque villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter, alongside a Saturday Club for children, an Own a Pony scheme, and arena tuition with show jumps and dressage facilities. The signature offering for visitors is the River Ride, taking horses through the River Eye in Lower Slaughter (perfect for nervous adults and children), plus longer hour-long village hacks. Council licensed by Cotswold District Council. Photographers and Japanese, BBC Countryfile and Britain by Bike productions have all filmed here. The centre faces the Coach and Horses Inn on the A429 Stow Road.
