About this yard
Birtle Riding Centre occupies a commanding hillside position above Bury and is one of Greater Manchester's principal competition venues. The centre has a 41×21 metre indoor school with a 100-seat spectator gallery, an unusual facility for a regional yard, and a 62-metre floodlit outdoor arena that is used year-round. The venue hosts affiliated and unaffiliated showing, dressage and jumping competitions throughout the year, drawing entries from across the North West. As well as competition hosting, the centre runs a full tuition programme with BHS approval for riders of all levels.

What to wear
