Tolt through the Dalarna forests on Icelandic horses
Day rides on Icelandic horses with Sor Sellner in the forests of Dalarna, central Sweden, from a stable with 20 years' experience. Rides follow small forest roads and winding paths, with snack stops by a little lake or at the Solklinten viewpoint over the countryside. Everything from two-hour rides to full days is on offer, with a careful briefing and arena practice before you head out.
Rides begin with a thorough briefing and some arena practice, focused on horse welfare and rider safety, so beginners are welcome. There is a weight limit of 80 kg, and beginners must be at least 12.
Sure-footed Icelandic horses, calm and comfortable with their smooth tolt, well suited to the Dalarna forests.
