Polo riding schools in Somerset

Saddl lists 2 polo venues in Somerset. Yards are concentrated around Taunton and South Petherton. Every listing is reviewed before we publish it, so you're seeing real working yards rather than a stale directory. Open any venue for live contact details, prices and the disciplines it actually runs. Somerset is a smaller market for polo than the big regional centres, which means the yards that do run it tend to be known quantities locally. It's worth ringing ahead: smaller yards often take fewer riders at a time, and the best instructors book up. Ask about group versus private sessions, what's provided (hats, body protectors), and whether they cater to your level before you travel. If you're flexible on discipline, Somerset also has Hacking & Trails, Show Jumping, Riding Schools venues worth a look. And because the right yard isn't always in your own county, it's worth widening the search to Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, all within reasonable reach.
