Valley View Ranch and Equestrian Centre at Ullingswick is registered with Herefordshire Council (RID10) and 5-star rated 2021. Hosts Icelandic Horse Society events and "Bring Your Horse on Holiday" packages with 2 nights camping and 2 nights stabling, multi-discipline sand/rubber arena for show jumping and dressage, and cross-country schooling course. Adjoining bridlepaths for hacking. Western Wagons and Bunkhouses on-site for riding holidays. Welcomes individual and group bookings, riding clubs and Pony Clubs. Takes bookings May to September. Created by owners Bruce and Tina Lawrence, the ranch is home to American Quarter Horses, American Paint Horses and American Miniatures, alongside western-themed bunkhouses, wagons and camping. It has hosted the Icelandic Horse Society of Great Britain's British Championships, an event attended by HRH Princess Anne in 2023.

Standard guidance for equestrian yards in the UK. Check with your yard if you're unsure.
A correctly fitted hat to current safety standards (PAS 015 or VG1). Bicycle helmets are not permitted. Hats are available to hire, usually reserved for first-time riders.
Boots with a small heel, riding boots, walking boots or wellies all work. Trainers and flat-soled shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs must be covered, no vest tops or shorts. Jackets and coats should be fastened securely. Waterproofs are recommended for outdoor lessons.
Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail before putting on your helmet. All jewellery must be removed before riding.
