About this yard
Oakwood Park Polo Club was founded by Francis Matthews in 1999 at the former Oakwood Park Showground at Maresfield, Uckfield. It was the first polo club in Sussex to be fully HPA affiliated all year round and remains the only one in the wider area to run both summer and winter polo. A full-sized purpose-built laser-boarded County Polo Ground anchors the site. The club is the home of Sussex County Polo.

Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs should be covered, and waterproofs are worth having for outdoor lessons. Check with the yard if you are unsure.
Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
