About this yard
City of Derry Farm & Equestrian Centre is a fourth-generation family farm in the Faughan Valley, just outside Derry-Londonderry, delivering riding lessons, trail rides and equestrian activities since 2007 alongside broader farm and wellbeing experiences. A Pony Club Accredited Centre, it caters for beginners through to experienced riders, with equine assisted services and mindfulness-focused sessions alongside standard lessons. The farm also keeps sheep and pygmy goats, runs farm experience days, and offers self-catering accommodation on site. Facilities include an all-weather outdoor arena, indoor school, paddocks, stabling, and on-site parking.

Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.

Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
