About this yard
Blewbury Riding Centre near Didcot is a well-established ABRS+ approved centre with a large indoor school (65m x 25m) and covered warm-up area for year-round riding. Offers individual and group lessons for children from age 4 and adults of any age, complete beginners to experienced riders, plus hacks through the Ridgeway and Berkshire Downs, regarded as some of the best hacking country in southern England. An outdoor school, summer jump field, tack and feed shop, and a cafe are also on site, alongside in-house show jumping and dressage competitions. Livery is offered on Full, Working, Part, Assisted DIY, DIY and Schooling bases.

Sturdy boots with a small heel. Trainers and flat, smooth-soled shoes are not suitable for safety reasons. Check with the yard for their exact requirements.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs should be covered, and waterproofs are worth having for outdoor lessons. Check with the yard if you are unsure.
Long hair should be tied back before putting on your hat, and jewellery removed before riding.
