About this yard
Black Bears Polo Club operates from Lower Bolney Farm at Shiplake, near Henley-on-Thames, and has built one of the strongest reputations in UK polo over its three decades at the site. Five outdoor grounds and a 96 x 56 metre arena with Martin Collins surface support year-round play. Polo ponies live in airy brick-and-flint stables with automatic waterers and over 120 acres of post-and-rail turnout. Three horse walkers, a mile of exercise track, and dedicated canter and walk tracks (added 2023) round out the infrastructure.
