About this yard
Binfield Heath Polo Club was founded in 1994 by members who had previously played at Checkendon Park, and joined the HPA two years later. The club sits on Lord Phillimore's grounds between Henley-on-Thames and Reading, with two fully irrigated pitches, a stick-and-ball ground and an arena. HPA coach Philip Elliot runs lessons, pony hire and livery from a yard opposite the grounds. The club's stated focus is on low-goal polo and an unintimidating introduction for new players.
