About this yard
Bartlow Riding School and Livery Yard is a family-run, ABRS approved riding school near Saffron Walden on the Essex/Cambridgeshire border. The centre offers private and semi-private lessons for children and adults, pony rides for under-4s and lessons from age 4 upwards, plus off-road hacking.
Facilities include a fully lit indoor school, a fully lit outdoor school with a full set of show jumps, and an Olympic arena with jump-for-joy jumps and fillers. The yard also runs in-house shows and has a feed shop on site. Full ridden and non-ridden livery is available, and the arenas can be hired by external clients. Open seven days a week, 9am to 6pm.
