About this yard

Parbold Equestrian Centre is set in 18 acres of farm land at the foot of Parbold Hill, between the River Douglas and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, an idyllic position in the West Lancashire countryside. The centre holds BHS approval as a Pony Stars Centre and is accredited by West Lancashire Borough Council, with 31 horses and ponies including 17 riding school horses and a team of four full-time, two part-time, and two freelance instructors. Head instructor and owner Nicola Bennett has competed at advanced eventing and advanced medium dressage level, and this competitive expertise informs the quality of coaching across flatwork, show jumping, dressage, and cross-country. The canalside and hillside setting makes hacking an attractive addition to the arena work, and livery is available for horse owners wanting to keep their horses in this distinctive rural location.
